# MEV

### Understanding MEV on Solana at a glance

**The MEV routes are Circular’s real-time intelligence layer for Solana MEV activity.**

They aggregate, analyze, and structure on-chain execution data into clear metrics like revenue, profit, arbitrage volume, and actor performance.

Instead of manually parsing millions of transactions, the routes give you a **live view of where value is created and extracted on Solana.**

***

### Why MEV routes exist

Raw blockchain data doesn’t tell you where the money is.

On Solana, MEV activity is:

* Spread across millions of transactions
* Hidden inside swaps, arbitrage loops, and bundles
* Difficult to attribute to tokens, wallets, or protocols

Understanding:

* Who is making money
* How they are making it
* Where it is happening

requires heavy data processing.

**MEV routes turn this fragmented execution layer into a structured financial view of the network.**

***

### Available routes

Most of the data returned by those routes can be visualized on our frontend as well [here](https://circular.fi/mev).

* **Overview**\
  Global aggregated metrics for a given period (revenue, profit, transactions).
* **Graph**\
  Time-series data to analyze MEV trends over time.
* **Top**\
  Ranked data (tokens, wallets, transactions, AMMs).

### The payoff

MEV routes help you move from:

* Raw transaction noise

to:

* A structured, financial understanding of Solana activity

They answer critical questions like:

* Where is value being extracted?
* Who are the dominant actors?
* Which tokens and protocols drive MEV?

On Solana, understanding MEV isn’t about reading transactions.

**It’s about understanding the flow of value across the network.**
